60 ideas to stay sane during this time, while making memories.
Let's face it...life is slowly coming to a halt as we tune into the news each day and receive new restrictions in the fight against the coronavirus. Business, travel and even family relationships are all disrupted. Many are learning how to work from home while homeschooling their children because schools have closed. Gyms, malls, restaurants, bars and gatherings of more than 10 people are also being shut down or restricted. Shelves are empty at grocery stores are bare because people are buying as much food and supplies as they can, preparing to stay at home for a long time.
The reality of this not being like a "snow day," is setting in and the thought of unknown amount of weeks at home with bored children is enough to send chills down the spine of many parents. Good news is, there are plenty of things you can do to pass the time, practice "social distancing," make good memories with your loved ones despite all the negativity we hear from the news. We created a list of 60 ideas, most of which are free and will be sure to provide quality time, laughter and memories of a lifetime. After having done almost all of these with my own children, I can attest everyone will have a great time.
xoxo,
P.S. If none of these 60 ideas work...I can PROMISE you, making a #tiktok video with your tween will certainly make you both laugh.
